Goofy Haunted Mansion Figure by Jim Shore Revealed for Walt Disney World’s 50th
Jim Shore has revealed an upcoming piece in the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary collection, this time featuring Goofy snapping a selfie at the Haunted Mansion.
As you can see, Goofy is taking a stroll through the Haunted Mansion queue line, which features many interactive elements and games since the 2011 refurbishment.
The line also includes a mystery to unravel as guests come across five different busts of the Dread family, inviting guests to solve the mystery of who killed who.
Goofy is snapping a quick picture with one of these famous busts- a picture I’m sure many of us have of ourselves!
The queue line for the Haunted Mansion is a much-beloved one, as it starts to build the atmosphere for the attraction as soon as you enter.
Naturally, guests were extremely happy when the opening day attraction reopened its exterior queue, including the interactive area, in June 2021 after the pandemic.
It seems as though Shore is on a Haunted Mansion kick currently, with the artist revealing a Madame Leota figure that will be released in the Disney Parks just over a week ago.
The Leota piece, however, is not included in the Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Collection that is being released by Shore.
Currently, three figures from the 50th Anniversary collection have been released, including a stunning piece for Cinderella Castle, Donald at the Enchanted Tiki Room, and Minnie on a carousel horse.
All of these, are of course, exclusive to the Walt Disney World Resort.
What figure do you think will be released next in the Jim Shore Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary collection? Let us know your guesses in the comments.
