Disney Files Permit for Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT
EPCOT has been undergoing a major transformation, and it appears the changes are not done yet. Could there be more updates coming soon to this Walt Disney World theme park?
Disney recently filed a new permit for work on EPCOT’s Imagination Pavilion. The area is home to Figment’s Journey into Imagination, a small retail store, and a discovery area.
The new permit leaves us wondering what more excitement can come to this beloved pavilion.

Disney has created quite a bit of buzz these last few months with announcements, including the DinoLand USA reimagining and the Big Thunder Mountain projects.
Though no official announcement has been made, the filing of this permit implies that more change is coming.
The permit was filed earlier this month with work is listed as “general construction,” and the contractor is Poli Construction LLC.
“General construction” can range anywhere from small refurbishments to a major overall.
However, the expiration date of November 28, 2025, is generating speculation. A project end date of 19 months is significant as most permits expire within one year. Disney anticipates this project potentially taking longer, and we can only guess as to what is coming and the scope.
