Let’s Talk All About Tokyo Disney Resort Parades

Disney Parks around the world have amazing parades, loved by all Guests.  Well, let’s talk all about parades at Tokyo Disney Resort, but we must begin with etiquette.

Etiquette

Tokyo Disney Resort Guests have varying etiquette compared to the states.  This etiquette includes written and nonwritten rules, so be sure to familiarize yourself if you plan to visit.

First, if you are sitting, then you must remain on your bottom, remove large hats, and keep cameras at eye level. In fact, you must sit on a leisure sheet, similar to a small picnic blanket.  Tokyo Disney Resort sells all sorts of leisure sheets in cute designs, so no worries! 

Also, there are designated areas where you are allowed to sit for parades.  Plus, you can only save a spot for yourself and a few other people…not ten people.

Dreaming Up! Daytime Parade

Tokyo Disney Resort switches its daytime parades every five years, and a parade does not return once it leaves.  Currently, the resort has Dreaming Up!

The parade includes a catchy song, brightly colored floats, and enthusiastic performers.  It debuted in 2018, and it is highly recommended to watch this parade once per day (not just once during your entire vacation).  

Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights

Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights is legendary!  It is a modern-day electrical parade that is constantly updated with new floats and music.  

Now, let’s talk all about this parade that debuted on June 1, 2001.  You can see Cinderella’s pumpkin coach and Rapunzel’s tower lit up with lanterns.  Some great locations for this parade are across from the Haunted Mansion, at the Partners statue, and in Toontown.  Just be sure to arrive at least one hour early in preparation. 

Seasonal Parades

Tokyo Disney Resort also has seasonal parades.  These parades include New Year’s, Easter, Summer, Halloween, and Christmas.  Truly, Tokyo Disney Resort knows how to put on a parade show!  So, let’s talk all about Disney Tokyo Resort shows next!
