Iger extends thanks to the Disney Cast Members and his colleagues. He goes on to thank his wife and children for their love and support.
This is not Iger’s first appreciation post. Iger has taken to twitter and social media numerous times in the last few weeks sharing his thanks and expressing pride in The Walt Disney company.
Bob Iger
Iger is leaving Disney after running the company from 2005-2020. He announced his step down from CEO last year and is succeeded by Bob Chapek.
Iger, 70, has stayed on as chairman throughout the year. However, his role of chairman is officially ending.

Though Bob Iger’s time at Disney is ending, he has been expressing his appreciation and departure on social media over the last few weeks.
Just spent 3 days @WaltDisneyWorld & was reminded (yet again) what makes me so proud of @disney…our cast members! Thanks for taking care of me all these years. Thanks for your talent, your commitment & the gratitude you expressed. I am deeply grateful to all of you!

The Future
The future with Iger and Disney is unknown. A recent article by CNBC predicted that Iger will return to Disney as CEO within the next few years, though this is only speculation.
Iger had extended his contract numerous times (2015, 2016 and 2018) before officially stepping down in early 2020. He remained executive chairman of Disney until the end of the year.
