Disney+ Day Gives First Look at Marvels ‘Secret Invasion’
With an action-packed Disney+ Day upon us, we’re getting some incredible announcements and reveals; with that, we have our first look at Marvel’s Secret Invasion!
A series following the fallout of Nick Fury’s discovery of the Skrull existence on Earth, the series will reportedly dive into the Skrull presence, and act as an emphasis on Fury and Skrull leader Talos.
First appearing in Captain Marvel, the Skrulls are a very interesting bunch; with their shapeshifting capabilities making them equally dangerous as they are useful.
The first look has given us a view of what Nick Fury will look like in the series, and he looks Awesome!
The Fury that was getting in this series is unlike any that we’ve seen before; with his long, grey, beard and lack of an eyepatch pointing to a more grizzled, ruthless, agent than we have been exposed to during the Avengers films.
We know Nick Fury is renowned for his ability as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, but this series will focus more on him and his ability to handle this great hidden threat.

With the first image, we also got our first look at the official logo reveals for the series; although similar to the logo that we had before this announcement, this updated look is notably different in a few areas.
The Secret Invasion title card features a heavier focus on the color green, as opposed to the red that dominated the previous iteration.
This is perfect for a series based around the Skrull invasion, as their green skin is their most notable feature.
The series will star Ben Mendelson reprising his role as Talos, Samuel Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury, and Emilia Clarke making her MCU debut.
