Christmas Decorations Are Up at EPCOT
Its a global Christmas celebration over at the World Showcase in EPCOT.
The Christmas decorations are officially up at the theme park in anticipation of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.
The festivities will officially kick off on November 26 and will run through until December 31.
As you can see, we’re making our way around the World Showcase and our first stop is the Canada Pavilion where beautiful red, green and gold garlands and some festive charm!
The Mill Stage looks ready for the holiday entertainment!
In case you missed it, I wrote up an article yesterday about the entertainment options coming to EPCOT for this year’s fest. You can find out the details here.
Next we transition over to the United Kingdom Pavilion.
The giant holiday teapot and cups are back warming us up with their loveliness!
There’s even a Christmas tree on the pot decorated with holiday baubles and a Santa on top!
The street lamps of the pavilion look positively charming.
They are wrapped in greenery with red and gold bows and holiday ornaments.
We love these decorations when set against the warm glow of the Rose & Crown Pub windows!
Speaking of the Rose & Crown, just outside of the dining room is some beautiful holiday greenery with contrasting red poinsettias!
And of course here are the lamp posts next to the UKs famous red phone booths.
We continue our way around the World Showcase Lagoon where we come to the France Pavilion
Chefs de France has garlands similar to the ones we found at Rose and Crown.
The outdoor food kiosk has even gotten in on the fun with some garlands along the roof.
One of my favorite holiday decorations in all of Walt Disney World is the display in the flower beds at the France pavilion.
Inside the ornaments you’ll find images of French holiday goodies,
They are joined by famous French landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.
When at Disney at Christmas always be sure to look up. You’ll find stunning flower boxes and balconies adorned with greenery like these ones in the France Pavilion.
You’ll find more greenery and a red, green and gold wreath on the balconies above the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along.
Over at The American Adventure you’ll find Holiday décor with patriotic touches.
There’s bows featuring red and white stripes.
There’s also gardens where citrus and apples are added to the greenery.
The garlands look stunning on the rooftop balcony over Regal Eagle Smokehouse.
We think that The American Adventure is looking wonderfully patriotic this Holiday Season.
The decorations really remind me of what you’d find at colonial Williamsburg.
Let’s take a brief moment to appreciate the tree at the American Pavilion.
We love the poinsettia garland that winds its way around the tree.
Bows with fruit and hanging lanterns definitely give the tree a homey/rustic feel.
We love the way the tree towers over visitors as they walk by.
Most of the buildings in The American Adventure have been adorned with coordinating decorations like the greenery at Block & Hans.
Next we move over to Italy where they have a similar holiday aesthetic.
The balcony decorations look positively stunning as you’re walking past.
It definitely gives the whole area a wonderful holiday feel.
Most of the balconies at the pavilion have greenery and baubles.
As well as the stairwells.
Over at the Germany Pavilion there’s definitely a Bavarian holiday vibe.
This can be seen the wonderful bows that you’ll find on the pavilions Christmas garlands.
Here’s a closer look at the folk art quality to the decor and the delightful textures like those found on this smiling gingerbread woman!
The wreaths adorned with red ornaments look beautiful on the second floor windows of the beloved Karamell-Kuche.
There’s something about that warm smell of Werther’s caramel that makes it seem even more holiday-like in Germany.
Here’s a look at some of the greenery strewn from the rooftops.
We think you’ll agree that its simply stunning.
The archways of Biergarten and Sommerfest are also decorated.
As we inch ever closer to picking up some caramel corn at Karamell-Kuche, here’s a look at the shop’s decorations!
More gold elements are added to the decorations outside of the toy shop!
The garlands blend seamlessly with the murals at the Germany Pavilion.
Here’s one last look before we move on.
The wreaths and lamp posts at the Norway Pavilion have a traditional feel with heart and Santa ornaments.
Here’s another look at the wreaths you’ll find at Norway.
Lampposts are wrapped to look like small Christmas trees.
And the Kringla Bakery beckons you inside to get your school bread.
Here’s a look at the decorations from just outside Frozen Ever After.
Last, but not least, we move over to the Mexican Pavilion.
The too have started to decorate with lots of greenery.
They do mix the colors up though with bright pops of blue, oranges and yellows.
We love the display outside of La Hacienda de San Angel.
And look at the decorations below with bright pops of purple and pink baubles.
Lime green and blue details are also woven into the designs.
We round out our tour with a pitstop at Disney Traders which is right at the main entrance to World Showcase.
The decor here has a little bit of everything to represent all of the countries we visited.
He your can see folks dining at La Cantina in the Mexican Pavilion overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon. We love that you’ll find decorations even at this angle.
The holidays at EPCOT has to be one of the most beautiful times of the year.
