‘Shang-Chi’ Star Reportedly Signed on for Multiple MCU Projects
Marvel is just a week away from the official theatrical release of their next MCU title; with the studio introducing their newest hero, it has been reported that a Shang-Chi star has signed on for multiple MCU projects.
With Marvels formula continuing on with the development of their newest hero, it has been reported that Shang-Chi wont be the only character from this newest film to continue their presence within the cinematic universe.

According to Wegotthiscovered.com, It appears as though Marvel is bringing back Awkwafina to reprise her role as Katy Bashir in future MCU films.
The Jumanji: The Next Level star has reportedly signed a deal that will maintain her presence for multiple different projects, with uncertain remaining as to if these future projects are all Shang-Chi films, or if seh will expand her role to the larger happenings of the MCU.

Despite recent contraversies surrounding the actress, Awkwafina has build a formidable acting presence in recent history; becoming a consistent presence in various projects that work to bring more representation for the severly underepresented Asian communities.
Her role in films like Crazy Rich Asians, and The Farewell established the actress as a young force for positive Asian-American represnetation, while also being more than capable to excel in a plethora of different roles; with her exceptional comedic timing being her trademark.

It appears that Awkwafina’s Kathy brings that signature comedic talents to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings; with her characters chemistry with the films title character seeminlgy work to create comedic momets out of their many endeavors.
It appears the characcter will play a similar role that Michale Pena plays in the Ant-Man films; a memorable comedic force that keeps audiences engaged in that signature Marvel humor.
