‘Loki’ Theory May Solve The Mystery of the TVA
Marvel fans have been engrossed by the new series that the studio has debuted on Disney+, chief among them being the MCU’s mysterious new series. With its fair share of unanswered questions, it appears a new Loki theory may solve the mystery of the TVA!
Loki has debuted to a thunderous reception from fans as the series has explored the God of Mischief with welcomed humanity that makes him unlike we’ve seen him before.
Outside of the series great work with the Loki character, fans have also dived deep into the Time Variance Authority, or TVA as they are known.
The TVA, as defined in the series, is an enigmatic organization tasked with maintaining the proper flow of Earth-616’s time stream; a task that requires the apprehension and elimination of all variants or Nexus events.
Loki, after joining forces with the TVA, has been as awestruck as the viewers; with the mystery surrounding the organization, the looming but unseen Time Keepers, and boundless purpose that these minute men fight for their cause, the TVA is as robust a mystery as the MCU has ever had.
It appears as though some eagle-eyed MCU fans have discovered some consistencies that could shed light on exactly the source of the TVA.
As first reported by Inverse.com, it seems as though a Loki theory may solve the mystery of the TVA.
Fans have noted the similarity in the look of the TVA as seen in Loki, and another set that can be seen in the distance of another MCU installment.
Fans have noted, hidden within the background of a scene in Antman and The Wasp is a city that very closely resembles the landscape that Loki observed during a scene with Mobius.
That Antman scene took place within the quantum realm, which would act as an answer to a plethora of Loki’s questions that surround the TVA and how they exist.
According to Mobius, time works differently in the TVA, which mirrors a lot of what MCU fans know about the quantum realm; as Scott Lang has echoed similar sentiments when describing the mysterious plane of reality.
If the TVA is, in fact, existing within the quantum realm as the theory suggests, then that would explain the ability for the organization to travel throughout time; as Loki has done consistently during the series first three episodes.
This theory would also tie into the next potential threat of the MCU.
With Jonathan Majors cast to play Kang The Conqueror in Antman: Quantumania, it appears as though the time-traveling villain could be utilizing the same quantum realm of the TVA.
The theory is definitely interesting, and it will be exciting to see if Loki delves into the Quantum Realm, and the answers surrounding the TVA’s ability to travel throughout time, and yet exist untouched by it.
Fans can catch new episodes of Loki every Wednesday during the series ten-episode first season.
