Marvel Finally Debuts ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Teaser Trailer!
Fans have anxiously awaited the worldwide debut of maybe the most anticipated MCU film ever, and their patience has just been rewarded as Marvel finally debuts the Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser trailer!
After many questions of when Marvel would give fans their first look at the third film in Peter Parkers MCU saga went unanswered, controversy arose from leaked plot points and potential trailers that filled headlines this weekend.
With Cinemacon fast approaching, and the Marvel fandom restless with that same plethora of leaks; Sony and Marvel knew the time was now to give the world their first look at the film!
Sony Motion Picture Group Chairman, Tom Rothman, introduced the new teaser to the fans at Cinemacon; as Marvel finally debuts the Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser trailer!
The trailer featured plenty to theorize about, but began showing Peter and Mary Jane enjoying quiet time upon a rooftop; reading the various vile things written about Spider-Man in the local paper.
This is quickly interrupted by various shots of Peter in less than ideal circumstances; displaying the fallout of Mysterio’s decision to out Peter Parker as the Spider-Man, the world has truly turned on the web slinging hero in favor of the villain’s claims.
Peter goes to the only person he can think of for help; Doctor Strange.
What follows is a fantastic spell gone wrong, as the two attempts to rewrite the fabric of time, and the events set in motion by Mysterio.
Doctor Strange makes note of the Multiverse, and we see hints at the presence of past Spider-Man villains appearing in the MCU for the very first time; all due to the attempt at altering the very fabric of time.
The clearest view we have of a multiversal Spider-Man villain appearing in the film is Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octavious; who appears in the final shot of the trailer.
Yellow lightning bolts could signify a return for Jaime Foxx’s Electro, and the signature bomb of Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin also seems to make small but significant appearances in the trailer.
It is unclear how much of past Spider-Man films we will see in Peter Parker’s final MCU film, but it is clear that Sony and Marvel will be integrating much of the Peter’s we have known from the past.
Watch the trailer below, and tell us what do you think? Are you excited for what could be Peter’s final chapter in the MCU? Let us know!
