Boo Bash Brings Ghoulish Delights After Hours Tomorrow
Of all of the entertainment that has returned to Walt Disney World after that frightful shutdown last year, the debut of After Hours special events tomorrow certainly bewitched an enormous number of Disney fans.
Disney After Hours Boo Bash brings its frights and delights to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow as the first special ticketed event to return to the U.S. resorts. The brand-new event replaces Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party, a perennial fall favorite.
Fiendish Delights and Ghostly Frights
Those lucky enough to snag tickets to opening night should prepare for a slew of spooky character sightings. The supernatural inhabits of the Haunted Mansion, including Broome the Butler, Miss Carlotta, and Miss Renatta should make an illusory appearance.
Of course, Mickey and his pals will also be enjoying the evening’s frightful festivities. Goofy, Chip and Dale, and even “Pinocchio” trouble-makers Foulfellow and Gideon may be spotted playing a few tricks and snagging a few treats as well.
Surfacing from their coffins for the first time in forever, the Cadaver Dans resurrect their a capella act for the special evening.
Finally making her fire-breathing return to Main Street U.S.A., Maleficent receives her own cavalcade to celebrate her most satisfying season of the year.
Spine-chilling Cavalcades
Dr. Facilier joins his fellow villains, including the Queen of Hearts and Jafar, for a sinister “Disney Villain Halloween Cavalcade.”
Celebrating the lighter side of the haunting holiday, Mickey Mouse hosts his own cavalcade for guests as well. The “Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade” lets these long-time pals, including Minnie Mouse, Pluto and more, show off this year’s clever costumes.
What Halloween festivity would be complete without the Pumpkin King himself? Make sure to prepare for the unexpected thrill as “Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade” traverses the Magic Kingdom with Sally and the terrifying Oogie Boogie joining the procession.
Trick-or-Treat and Tantalizing Sweets
When the announcment first came out about Boo Bash, the number one question on everyone’s minds was … will there be trick-or-treating? Thankfully, the answer to that question is a resounding yes! (What a scary tale to have a Halloween extravaganza without this tradition.) Whether playing the part of their favorite princess, pirate, Marvel hero or ghoul, Boo Bash guests will gather tricks and treats throughout Magic Kingdom. Allergy-friendly options also are available.
Those looking for a more devlishly sweet delight may want to try the Foolish Mortal Funnel Cake, a layered creation of funnel cake topped with M&M’S, Oreo cookie crumbles, purple vanilla ice cream, and drizzled icing. With temperatures tomorrow running high, we may head straight to the Apple Ginger Dale Frozen Drink as well.
Other Not-So-Eerie Boo Bash Details
As with any special After Hours event, Boo Bash offers guests not-so-mysteriously short waits as a huge perk to attending the event. With limited ticket sales, attraction wait times often run much lower than usual.
Guests attending Boo Bash can enter the Magic Kingdom at 7:00 p.m., giving them plenty of time to acquired their special events wristand and to catch “Happily Ever After” before the park closes to non-Boo Bash guests officially for the evening at 9 p.m. Make sure to check out the exclusive and eerie Magic Shots as well!
The tombstones officially begin to quake for Boo Bash at 9:30 p.m. tomorrow night with times varying slightly by event date. Costumes are certainly encouraged, but make sure to double-check the costume guidelines before arrival.
