PHOTOS: Stormalong Bay Construction Moves to Bridge, Pool and Slide Remain Open

We have great news from Yacht and Beach Club’s Stormalong Bay: the slide has officially reopened to eager guests after its recent refurbishment. While the construction has officially wrapped on the slide area, the work has moved closer to the main guest pool and lazy river. 

In order to expedite the work and keep overnight noise to a minimum, construction is taking place on the bridge at Stormalong Bay.

While the construction workers were protected from the Florida sun, guests below relaxed in the passage below the bridge as they floated in the lazy river.

No part of the pool or lazy river is closed despite the work that’s taking place, so rest assured if you’ve got an upcoming stay at the Yacht or Beach Club planned!

The work at Stormalong Bay is moving towards the finish line ahead of the busy summer months, and we can’t wait to see the finished product!
