Disney+ Hawkeye Series: Kate Meet Clint
A new official photo shows Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld)…
Can you believe we’re finally coming to fruition on this thing? We have waited a long time through many, many updates and delays and now we are almost there.
News on the Disney+ Hawkeye series is surfacing and now we have an official picture to go along with the hype.
In an exclusive for EW.com, Christian Holub explained: As you can see in the first-look photo below, Hawkeye will bring Clint face-to-face with a younger female archer…
“[Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she’s a big Hawkeye fan,” Renner tells EW. “She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her, because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.”
Here’s the picture that EW.com posted on Thursday:
Now, everything Hawkeye has been on our radar at MickeyBlog.com. And you can read those updates here on the site.
Of course, there was a mid-credit scene after Blackwidow. And that scene set up some conflict to occur during the upcoming Hawkeye series.
However, one of the cooler things to come out of the above update was a new quote from Renner about his collaboration with Steinfeld.
Holub wrote, “Just as Clint mentors Kate in superheroics, so too did Renner take it upon himself to welcome Steinfeld into the real-life world of MCU filmmaking.
“That was always my role. Outside of acting in the thing, I was protecting her and giving her the CliffsNotes on how it goes with this kind of filmmaking: Green screen, superhero life, all that stuff,” Renner told EW.com. “I just wanted to protect her, because there’s a lot of physical stuff.
“She’s a wonderful actress, a wonderful human. And I can’t wait to see all the cool stuff that she’s able to do.”
Hawkeye (and Kate Bishop) arrive on Disney+ on November 24.
