Disneyland Paris Characters Ready for Friendship Day
Mickey and his pals certainly embody the meaning of true friendship. In honor of International Friendship Day next week, Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris reminded guests today of where to spot the main mouse and his loyal sidekicks.
As guests stroll throughout Disneyland Park, Mickey rides along in a variety of motor vehicles, including the park’s fire department truck.
Like many Disney resorts, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and the rest of the crew perch on the porch of the iconic Disneyland Railroad-Main Street U.S.A. Railroad Station greeting guests. The team also bids adieu from the same locale as guests depart for the evening.
The Meet Mickey Mouse attraction in Fantasyland offers guests a stellar way to snap a selfie with not only Mickey but also Goofy and Pluto throughout the day.
Mickey, Minnie and select other friends also travel down Main Street U.S.A. in these clever vehicles with a tricycle design.
The playful images of the tight-knit group escorted down Main Street on tricycles certainly brings back reminders of the old days at Walt Disney World. In 1994’s “Mickey Mania” parade, characters rode their way down the street on trikes. Later, performers dressed as painters rode them again during the “Share a Dream Come True Parade.” “Share a Dream” wandered its way through the Magic Kingdom throughout the early 2000s as the daytime parade.
Celebrating Friendship Day in the States
For those visiting the Disney parks stateside, Mickey and his pals can be found in a wealth of locations, including the train stations at both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. During the day, Mickey also joyfully greets guests at the majority of Disney theme parks in cavalcades, including the Mickey & Friends Cavalcade at Magic Kingdom.
Times for the cavalcades at all four Walt Disney World theme parks can now be found on the MyDisneyExperience app, making it easier to plan a visit around catching a wave from fan favorites.
