The Legendary Disneyland Hotel Is Open Once Again
We’ve got some very exciting news to share with you! One of our favorite Disney hotels is welcoming back guests!
That’s right. as of today, guests can enjoy the mid-century modern style and feel the history at the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Resort.
Every room at the Disneyland Hotel offers some extra magic in the headboards!

For those unfamiliar, the Disneyland Hotel is comprised of three towers each of which plays homage to Disneyland theme park’s original lands: Adventure, Fantasy or Frontier. Each of the tower features a sleek, modern design but is also filled with incredible displays of Disneyland from days gone by.
The property is just a short walk from Downtown Disney, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
Pools:
Disneyland Hotel features two monorail themed water slides as well as the E-ticket and D-Ticket pools where you can enjoy a relaxing swim.
Make a splash at our 2 towering monorail waterslides—themed after the classic park attraction and featuring a fun water play area. There’s also a Mickey & Minnie themed spa with whirlpools. For a separate fee you can even reserve your very own poolside cabana.

Dining:
Disney foodies are sure to love the array of restaurants you’ll find at the Disneyland Resort. This includes:
- Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill- Savor American fare with a Polynesian twist at this quick-service retreat, home to tropical music and tiki torches.
- Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar- At this enchanted Jungle Cruise-themed watering hole, sip on tropical cocktails, flavorful juices and an exotic bar menu.
- The Coffee House- Get going in the morning with muffins, bagels, yogurt, biscotti and more at this coffee shop located near the convention center.

I was lucky enough to have visited the Big Thunder Suite and all I can say is WOW! Disney really went out of their way to make these rooms as awesome as a stay in Cinderella Castle!
