Get a Sneak Peek of the Art at Disney’s Riviera Resort
In just a few short months, Disney’s Riviera Resort will open up to guests at the Walt Disney World Resort. Throughout construction, we have been hearing about the European touches this resort will receive.
Recently, Disney provided a sneak peek at some of the art at Disney’s Riviera Resort. When the resort opens in Fall 2019, guests will get to enjoy European-themed art and décor.
The Artwork
These pictures show some of the pieces that will be displayed in the villas when the 15th Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Resort opens. Some of the art villas will showcase include:
- Disney concept art with European settings
- Posters of Disney films as released in Europe
- Archival Photography of Walt’s travels throughout the region
- References to the ephemera and book titles Walt gathered on his journeys
Signature Art
In addition, there will be more than 40 signature art pieces created specifically for the new resort. These pieces will feature Disney character art inspired by the European Riviera.

- “Beauty and the Beast” characters
- “Peter Pan” characters
- “The Aristocats” characters
