Disney Just Confirmed Opening Dates for Casey’s Corner and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
After much speculation we are able to confirm our previous reports that Casey’s Corner will be reopening at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, tomorrow, June 30. In addition, the opening date for The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor has been confirmed and they will be serving up sweet scoops once again beginning July 7!

Casey’s Corner in the Magic Kingdom
Starting tomorrow, Guests will be invited back to the famous hot dog spot in the Magic Kingdom, Casey’s Corner for those mouth-watering Chili-Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog, corn nuggets, and cheese sauce.
Also back on the menu, a personal favorite of Elyssa Antonelle, is the Plant-based Loaded Slaw Dog featuring plant-based sausage topped with pickled slaw, barbecue vegan aïoli, and roasted corn relish.

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
On July 7, Guests will be able to get their sweet and refreshing Edy’s ice cream again from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street U.S.A.
All of your favorite ice cream flavors are set to return along with fat-free, no sugar, plant-based, and dairy-free options. And, if you have been craving a Barq’s Root Beer Float and/or Coca-Cola Float, you are in luck! Both options will also be back on the menu when the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor reopens next month!
I was personally optimistic that Casey’s Corner and the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor would be reopening just in time for the return of the “Happily Ever After” fireworks spectacular on July 1. And, now I am ecstatic that Disney has confirmed the news and that will soon be enjoying a tasty hot dog and pretty soon be able to end the night on a high note with a delicious ice cream cone while watching the show!
