Haunted Mansion: The Stretching Room Returns
Room For (More Than) One More in the Haunted Mansion!
Let’s face it, there are just certain markers that will tell us when the COVID-19 Pandemic is officially over (especially for those of us still wearing masks or social distancing here in the Northeast).

- Ordering a drink — maskless — at the bar.
- Going to the movies without social distancing.
- Simply sending our kids to [brick and mortar] school.

However, if you take it one step farther, and beyond the different mandates of individual states and municipalities, the true test for this blogger will be when my family can return to Walt Disney World and not notice anything.
Well, today we took one more giant step in the right direction.
Room For More Than One More Haunt
Recall the script for the preshow to the Haunted Mansion, spoken by the ghost host:

Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion. I am your host, your ghost host. Kindly step all the way in please, and make room for everyone. There’s no turning back now. Our tour begins here in this gallery, where you see paintings of some of our guests as they appeared in their corruptible, mortal state.”
And I quote: “Make room for everyone.”

Today, our fabulous trio of MickeyBloggers, Holly, Sarah, and Whitney, are back on the ground in the Magic Kingdom and just got to enjoy the full spookiness of the Haunted Mansion for the first time since March 2020.
In a sentence, said Holly, “It was spooktacular!”

Now, to be sure, this was NOT the first step in the right direction. Far from it. Disney World has already removed much of its social distancing signs and floor markers.
But previous to today, you did not stop to see the preshow as you entered the attraction. Today was the first day to move into the stretching room.
