The Unique Experiences at Avengers Campus
Marvel broke down the greatest bits, bytes, and buzz at Avengers Campus…
In the inimitable Rachel Paige is back on the case, spilling shawarma all over the net regarding “Avengers Campus.”
And, with our illustrious MickeyBloggers just having returned from Cali, we thought it would be fun to post our favorite of the bunch and then send you over to Paige’s page.
Of course, you know that Avengers Campus is the new Marvel-themed land at Disney California Adventure in the Disneyland Resort.
There, much like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, fans can immerse themselves into the feel of the Marvel brand, most especially the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Six Acres, Millions Of Memories
Rachel prefaced the list, writing of Avengers Campus:
[Avengers Campus] currently welcoming new recruits to learn and train alongside some incredibly mighty Super Heroes. But that’s not all that visitors can do once inside! The sprawling 6-acre campus has so much to see, experience… Wondering where to go and what to do first?
Out answer is: “Yes!”
So our favorite on Paige’s list is:
Watch Spider-Man fly through the air
Be sure to look up when you’re in Avengers Campus because you never know who you might see swinging from the building. When he’s not inside the Worldwide Engineering Brigade trying to catch Spider-Bots, you can catch a glimpse of Spider-Man hanging out high atop the building…
This one may actually make me cry when I actually see it in person; mainly because we’ve been watching the development of the flying Spideys for some time. Back in 2020, we posted about the animatronic Spider-Man who now flies over DCA and into the imagination of children of all ages.
Be sure to check out that archived article on the “robotic” Spidey.
Who knew that the actual thing would be so cool:
Plenty more where that came from…
Now, the flying Spidey animatronic is a reality, as are the stunt performers who play the role of the costumed Peter Parker. But that’s not all that is going on in the new immersive land.
And Paige listed six more experiences:
- Dora Milaje training
- Hello, Captain America
- Eat a Pym-sized pretzel
- Spider-Bots
- Otherworldly treats
- The mystic arts
Rachel broke down all those attractions on Marvel.com.
What a time to be a “True Believer!”
Finally, if you want a full walk around from Disneyland Resort, check out our latest videos.
I think Greg and Elyssa got a looksie at most of the attractions listed by Marvel.com with their Facebook vids:
See, I told you they covered the new land from head to web. ‘Natch!
