Top Quick Service Spots at Disney World
Ah, Disney World. So much magic. So much fun. So much FOOD!
While some families enjoy making table service dining reservations, many others like to take advantage of the counter service restaurants throughout the property.
But there are a lot!
So which quick-service locations will you choose? Check out our top picks by location:
Magic Kingdom – Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café

This counter service spot has been on the top of our list for years! We think it’s just so good.
Sure, the menu has seen some changes, particularly in recent days post reopening. But we still think it’s worth checking out.

Lunch and dinner options are available for roughly $10-15 per menu item. The best part is that the portions are hearty, so it’s a great value, especially with dining plans currently unavailable.
Menu items include fajitas, pork carnitas, beef and chicken nachos, southwestern salads, a taco trio, and rice bowls, including a veggie-friendly bowl.
If southwestern-inspired food isn’t your thing, there are cheeseburgers and even corn dog nuggets!
The kids’ menu is pretty expansive with rice bowl offerings, cheeseburgers, mac & cheese, and uncrustable sandwiches.
Now, we’d like to take a moment of silence in remembrance of the toppings bar….
Although Pecos Bill doesn’t offer that same, amazing, expansive bar thanks to COVID-19, they do give you single-serve toppings to enjoy like shredded cheese or sour cream. Some toppings – guacamole or melted cheese – may cost a dollar or two extra.
Epcot – Sunshine Seasons
There’s so much to love about this quick-service spot, including the cavernous location inside of The Land Pavilion.
Better yet, many of the ingredients listed on the menu come from the greenhouse featured on the Living With the Land attraction!
The lunch and dinner menu starts at roughly $10 and includes fresh offerings like oak-grilled salmon, stir-fried or rotisserie chicken, power salads, and “The Land Crusher,” which features pulled pork and cheddar atop Texas Toast.
Kids (and adults) can enjoy flatbread pizzas, with kids’ menu specific items like an uncrustable sandwich or chicken drumstick.
Perhaps the desserts, though, are what have us falling completing in love with Sunshine Seasons! Try the Mickey Rainbow Dome Cake, not just for its beauty but also for its sweetness.
We’re pretty sure that whatever you choose to order here will be satisfying and delicious!
Hollywood Studios – ABC Commissary
You might be surprised by this choice, but we really like ABC Commissary for its solid offerings and flavorful food.
Lunch and dinner is served here, and guests can choose from curry rice bowls, chicken clubs, buffalo chicken grilled cheese, shrimp tacos, pork carnitas, and fresh salads.
Plant-based offerings include a California burger and a curry rice bowl with tofu, both of which we’ve found to be delicious.
Kids’ meals include a turkey sandwich, an uncrustable, a pork taco, and grilled cheese.
This counter service restaurant has a good amount of seating – featuring air-conditioning!
There are also specialty beverage offerings, including those for guests ages 21+ like a watermelon margarita or a “Happy Daze,” which will definitely lift your spirits after a hot day in the park!
Animal Kingdom – Satu’li Canteen
Head to Pandora for this quick-service restaurant, which rivals some table service dining locations in our humble opinion.

The food here is fresh, flavorful, and relatively healthy! But it can be a little adventurous for picky eaters, so beware.
Satu’li Canteen is open for lunch and dinner and features customizable bowls, which is our favorite part about this spot.
Guests can choose a protein, base, and sauce. For instance, bases include quinoa, whole grains and rice, and sweet potato hash. Sauce options include a creamy herb dressing, a charred onion chimichurri, and a black bean vinaigrette.
Like we said: picky eaters may not be as gung-ho about some of the unique flavors.
Overall, though, this spot is interesting and includes plentiful indoor seating with outdoor shaded seating available. We recommend checking it out!
Disney Springs – The Polite Pig
Open for lunch and dinner, The Polite Pig is so incredibly yummy that you will want to devour your food in an impolite manner.

Burnt ends BBQ meatballs is just one of the options on the shareables list. Sounds amazing, right?
Sandwiches include a smoked turkey BLT, low & slow brisket, southern pig, and fried chicken.

Those wishing for something “lighter” might enjoy the Springs spinach salad, featuring spinach, seasonal fruit, feta, pecan granola, and red onion topped with a vinaigrette.
Or maybe you just want to order the sides like us! Choose from mac and cheese, grilled sweet corn, crispy Brussel sprouts, BBQ cauliflower, tomato & watermelon salad, or polite baked beans. Add them all together for a feast!

Don’t leave out the desserts, though. The red velvet cake and buttermilk chess pie have us drooling!
Kids can choose from smoked pork sliders, mac and cheese, chicken tenders, sliced smoked turkey breast, and BBQ meatballs.
Resorts – Primo Piatto at Disney’s Riviera Resort
We can’t leave out Disney World’s Resort Hotels! Our current favorite location is Primo Piatto, which is accessible from Disney’s Skyliner or even walkable from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort!
Stop by for its location as the Riviera, Disney’s newest resort, is breathtaking. But please stay for the food! It’s just so good.
Primo Piatto includes options at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
For breakfast, we suggest trying the blueberry-lemon pancakes or the “Primo Piatto Breakfast,” which includes scrambled eggs served over mascarpone polenta with a brioche roll that’s served with bacon and Italian sausage. Yes, please.
At lunch and dinner times, guests can order hearth baked pizzas or hot sandwiches like the upscale grilled chicken sandwich or the bacon cheddar burger made from a brisket and chuck blend.
The grilled vegetable skewer is not just for vegetarians. It’s phenomenal and hearty with a homemade cucumber yogurt and lemon-tomato vinaigrette.
But you’ll want to enjoy the Romano and herbed fries, which are just so good. And we recommend fitting in some dessert like the classic Tiramisu.
Kids will be happy here, too, as they can choose from pizza, pasta, chicken strips, shrimp, and a cheeseburger.
After eating, take a stroll along the grounds of the Riviera. It’s lovely!
Don’t Forget to Mobile Order!
That’s right. You will want to utilize mobile ordering at these quick-service locations as walk-ups may be unavailable.
And here’s an important tip: be sure to place your mobile order well in advance of when you actually plan to eat! Yes, this requires pre-planning; but if you wait to long, you may not be able to select your preferred pick-up window.
There are so many great quick-service restaurants available at Walt Disney World that you’re sure to enjoy wherever it is that you choose to dine.
We hope you like our favorites as much as we do!
