The ad is built around several instances where cables and traditional computer settings are hindering their users; juxtaposed with iPad users, equipped with the magic keyboard, utilizing the power of the newest Apple product in situations not hindered by those same traditional issues.
Long being the face of innovation, portability, and convenience in the tech world; Apple uses the song to speak to the desire for these traditional desktop users to grab hold of the promised Apple experience of free use, and portability; using the iconic Little Mermaid tune to get this point across.
Gaming, photo editing, and a long-lasting battery are displayed in the ad; while also showing the common issues facing users of other products who seek to engage in these activities and arenas.
The power and hardware of the device are noted by users everywhere; with new software updates expected, Apple users are surely excited for what’s to come with the new iPad Pro.
With all of the new features and upcoming announcements regarding the product, it’s no wonder that Apple parodies The Little Mermaid in their newest ad.
