There Are Characters Everywhere You Turn at Avengers Campus!
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ve no doubt seen the incredible footage of all of the rides, dining and merchandise available at the Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure. But the one aspect of a visit here that really takes the cake (in our booK0 is all of the characters you’ll encounter!
During your visit you’ll notice that characters from across the universe have assembled here and our ready to welcome YOU- the next generation of super heroes!
Best of all, there are a myriad of different ways to interact with the Marvel characters from immersive heroic encounters to, tutorials and so much more!

One of our favorite NEW character experiences has to be the chance to train with Okoye, the leader of the Dora Milaje and one of Black Panther’s mostloyal bodyguards. In a carefully crafted training sessions she’ll take you through some combat skills!
But, it’s not just limited to the heroes. Walk around long enough and you’ll encounter a combination of both heroes and Villains! Key characters to be on the lookout for includes:
- Iron Man
- Captain America
- Captain Marvel
- Black Panther
- Black Widow
- Ant-Man and The Wasp
- the Guardians of the Galaxy
- Thor
- Loki

And who could forget Spidey? You not only get to collaborate with him on WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure but if you look up at just the right moment, you may see him flip and incredible 65 feet in the air!

At the overgrown ruins of an Ancient Sanctum, you will learn mysterious secrets from Doctor Strange and discover ancient artifacts. Doctor Strange trains recruits in the ways of the Mystic Arts by bringing this Ancient Sanctum to life with powerful spells. At night, the area glows even more vividly with majestic colors and lights, pulsating with mystic energy.

At Avengers Campus, look out as Black Widow, Black Panther or Captain America spring into action, heading off the threat from these foes.
Guests may come across Ant-Man and The Wasp at Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park outside Pym Test Kitchen as they check in on the latest experiments taking place with food and beverages using the remarkable Pym Particles. (Ty Popko/Disneyland Resort)
The villainous Taskmaster, who will have a role in the upcoming film, “Black Widow,” will also be seen for the first time at a Disney park. Taskmaster’s abilities include photographic reflexes, easily replicating a Super Heroes’ moves and fighting style, making this new Super Villain a balanced foe for the Campus Super Heroes. Taskmaster and a gang of mercenaries may show up at Avengers Campus, looking to break into Avengers Headquarters and get their hands on something valuable.
