January 2022 Refurbishment Set for Disney Skyliner
If you have plans to stay at one of the four Walt Disney World Resort Hotels on the Disney Skyliner in January 2022, you are going to want to know about this update. It was just announced today that the Skyliner will be down for a refurbishment from January 23, 2022 to January 28, 2022.

The four Walt Disney World Resort Hotels that are on the Disney Skyliner route and will be impacted by this January 2022 refurbishment are:
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Riviera Resort

In addition, the Disney Skyliner also connects the four Walt Disney World Resort Hotels above to two of the four theme parks – EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Disney Skyliner first made its debut back in September 2019 at Walt Disney World. It was, of course, closed for several months due to the ongoing COVID-19 shutdown last March until July.

If you had not had a chance to stay at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels located on the Disney Skyliner, you are missing out! My family and I absolutely love the Riviera Resort and the ability to be able to hop on the gondola transportation and be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or EPCOT in a matter of minutes. It’s also handy to hop over to another resort hotel to check out some different drinks and snacks!

When the Disney Skyliner closes for its January 2022 refurbishment, Guests staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels will have access to buses to take them to and from EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
