VIDEO: Wilderness Lodge and The Contemporary Live Stream!
Have camera will travel: From Wilderness Lodge to The Contemporary
Variety is the spice of life, and on a busy spring Saturday, MagicalNewsLIVE took us “Newsies” on a fun tour of two Magic Kingdom Resorts: The Wilderness Lodge and The Contemporary Resort.
Resort Hop With Nick
First up, the Wilderness Lodge.
The lobby is so majestic.
Right out of a picture book.
We got to see inside a room.
Found a signature Wilderness Lodge cupcake!
And Nick took us around the grounds.

The entrance to the Cascade Cabins.
It’s amazing in here; be sure to watch the video to see more of this cabin.
Not so hidden Mickey on the table.
Now it’s time to find the dock and resort hop to The Contemporary.
This is truly the wilderness…
…and what a view of the local fauna.
Taking the boat to the Magic Kingdom dock. That’s the Grand Floridian in the distance.
The scrim is still up around the train station. But the entrance to Magic Kingdom is always exciting.
But we’re heading to the Walt Disney World Monorail, today.
Not a long wait at all. And we’ll complete our resort hop, shortly.
Love this view of Space Mountain and the new Tron coaster under construction.
And the Mary Blair mural is downright impressive. It’s over to the right and too often overlooked.
Less artistic is the construction scrim and noise in The Contemporary.
Big Question: Did Nick find a Monorail cupcake in Contempo Cafe?
Did he find any specialty merch?
He did find some beautiful Disney-inspired art.
But the above photo gallery was just a tease for a very, very fun afternoon of Disney details.
Be sure to watch the full video below.
