Disney Kicks Off Ultimate Princess Celebration With A Preview Of A New Snow White’s Enchanted Wish Scene
What a fun day for Disney news! Not only has Disney started of the day with the news that MagicMobile is going Android and that the soft opening of Disneyland starts today but they’ve also launched a year-long Ultimate Princess Celebration.
As part of this awesome event that celebrates some of our favorite Disney characters, Disneyland revealed a first look at a BRAND NEW SCENE from the re-imagined Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, which will open in Fantasyland when Disneyland re-opens on Friday!
A full look at this delightful image gives us an idea of how wonderfully re-imagined this beloved dark ride is! As we previously mentioned here at MickeyBlog, the ride will feature new magic inside and out. It uses state-of-the-art audio and visual technology to enhance the story. This includes LED black lighting, a new musical soundtrack, a brand new animation system and so much more. Best of all, as the image above suggests, the ride is now focused less on the scary aspects and more on Snow White finally getting her “Happily Ever After.”
We are absolutely blown away by the vivid color in the scene above from the beautiful blossoms in the trees to those lifelike features on Snow White’s forest friends.
Now let’s get on to the Ultimate Princess Celebration! In addition to the excitement around the updated ride at Disneyland there are ways that you can celebrate princesses around the globe.
Hong Kong Disneyland
You can’t mention Princesses at Disneyland without focusing on the Castle of Magical Dreams. The castle is inspired by the 13 courageous stories of Disney Princesses and queens and serves as the centerpiece for Hong Kong Disneyland.
If you’ll be visiting this park soon, be sure to check out the behind-the-scenes look at the Build a Dream exhibit.
This brand new exhibition takes guests through the creation of the castle from concept to reality. It also gives you a look at the tools and techniques used to bring the Castle to life!
Walt Disney World
Now let’s head to sunny Orlando where daily our favorite Disney Princess characters greet guests in a royal cavalcade around the Magic Kingdom!
Have your cameras at the ready and be sure to wave hello to Jasmine, Tiana, Cinderella and more!
Shanghai Disney Resort
Maintaining our princess focus let’s talk about “ILLUMINATE! A Nighttime Celebration” at Shanghai Disney Resort. It takes visitors on an exciting journey that, just like our favorite princesses inspires us to break through the darkness. It features Mulan, Rapunzel, Anna, Elsa and more!
This incredible nighttime spectacular unfolds in seven chapters delivering a message of perseverance and courage.
Disneyland Paris
Last, but not least, we head to Disneyland Paris where a beautiful statue of Cinderella has pride of place. This princess has long served as an example of kindness and overcoming adversity and challenges. Also, in Disneyland Paris there’s a brand new selfie spot where you can get your photos taken with none other than….Queen Anna & Snow Queen Elsa.
The tale of these sisters is one of courage and kindness toward the citizens of Arendelle. You ‘ll definitely want to snap a photo with the Queens during your next visit.
As always, readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for more Walt Disney World news and updates.
