Tiffins At Animal Kingdom Takes Top Spot at Orlando Sentinel’s Foodie Awards
Congratulations Tiffins! This beloved Animal Kingdom eatery was just awarded the top spot when it came to Orlando dining locations in 2021!
Amy Drew Thompson said of the eatery, “Tiffins, with its abundance of African-influenced dishes and transportive décor – not to mention it’s stellar adjacent bar, the Nomad Lounge is still my top pick.”
Cast Members and Chefs working in 10 different restaurants across Walt Disney World Resort were recognized by the paper. Including:
- Tiffins- Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Critic’s Choice for Best Theme Park Restaurant
- Jungle Naviation Co. Ltd Skipper Canteen – Magic Kingdom – Runner-up Best Theme Park Restaurant
- Les Halles Boulangerie – Patisserie – EPCOT – Runner-up Best Theme Park Restaurant

Its easy to understand why Tiffins ranks consistently as a favorite with locals and visitors alike! The Signature Dining Restaurant offers a globetrotting menu with eclectic dishes. Appetizers include Spiced Chickpea Falafel, Charred Octopus and a signature bread service. For main courses diners are spoiled for choice with options like Tamarind-braised Short Ribs, Surf and Turf or Shrimp and Grits. Rounding out your meal are desserts that are sure to delight like the Passion Fruit Tapioca Creme or the South American Chocolate Ganache.
In addition the restaurant also boasts an incredible wine list, after dinner liqueurs, dessert wines and cocktails! I’m a huge fan of finishing my meal at Tiffins with a Mustang Coffee featuring Crown Royal, Brown Sugar, Butter and Indonesian Blend Coffee!

It’s interesting to see that despite closures and social distancing measures that Be Our Guests in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom still remains a firm fan favorite with it’s fairy tale ambiance and classic French Cuisine!
