Rosario Dawson Takes To Instagram To Share Her Ahsoka Tano Transformation
One of the things we here at MickeyBlog loved the most about Season 2 of The Mandalorian was seeing Ahsoka Tano make the transition from animation to live action thanks to Rosario Dawson and the INCREDIBLE make-up artists working on Disney’s live-action series. If you need proof at the sheer amount of dedication not to mention patience it takes to transform Dawson for the role then look no further than the actor’s Instagram account.
Dawson shared several behind-the-scenes videos showing the process of transforming into the fan-favorite character. Let’s check it out:

We love the video above where you can see the team hard at work on the transformation. We also love that Rosario used Instagram as a way to give a shout out to Her Universe owner Ashley Eckstein who famously voiced the character in Clone Wars.

For those that wondered how long it takes to be made up as Ahsoka in the videos above, the entire transformation took 1 hour and 43 minutes! Its also interesting to see how much of an impact the last touch of the contact lenses really makes!

And last but not least, we can see Dawson back in the chair to have all of the elements that make her Ahsoka removed after a long day of filming!
We really love seeing these insights into how the characters we see on screen come to life! This also has us super excited for more Mandalorian as well as Ashoka’s own show which is slated to debut on Disney+ .
