Harmonious Continues to Assemble at EPCOT
No matter how hard 2021 has been (and I think we’d all agree its a doozy), I’m holding out hope that EPCOT will be making two announcements soon- that’s Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be opening soon and the France Pavilion and that Harmonious, the theme parks grand new evening celebration will be dazzling crowds soon! C’mon Disney we need this!
The good news is that both projects seem to be gaining momentum! If you were’ following along with us here at MickeyBlog yesterday, you’ll have noticed that the construction walls around Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure have come down. This is a good sign that all major work on the attraction has been done!
And today, many Disney locals have taken to social media to share the news that the second Harmonious barge has been put into place for the upcoming nighttime spectacular. Just check out this post from Disney culinary blogger extraordinaire AJ Wolfe:

Where there was one, there now are two! We hope this means that we are inching ever closer to the debut of Harmonious! For those unfamiliar, EPCOT’s new production promises to be a celebration of the way that people the world over are inspired by the music of Disney. It will feature pyrotechnics, water projections special effects an incredible soundtrack.
According to Disney these are just two of the five enormous platforms that will be put into place on the lagoon. Disney was also seen testing the first platform earlier in the week.
These barges will be an awesome new addition to the World Showcase Lagoon as they will also be used as a giant water feature during the day that will erupt in beautiful synchronized routines.
As of going to print Disney has yet to announce an opening date for Harmonious. However you bet that this is a story that we’ll be watching closely. So do keep checking back with us for further news and updates!
