Liberty Square Market Is Closing Starting Tomorrow
As Disney World calms down a wee bit after the busy Christmas rush, this is a prime time for seasonal closures and refurbishments. Today, when visiting disneyworld.com we noticed that one of our favorite places to grab a quick snack on our way to the Haunted Mansion – Liberty Square Market- is closing starting tomorrow.
Here’s a quick look at the notification on their website:
As you can see the cause for the closure is listed as a temporary refurbishment with this quick service spot slated to reopen in February.
There are no opening hours listed for the eatery as of tomorrow (January 11th) and we see them pick up again on February 2nd. So, its more than likely that the closure is for maintenance and maybe a seasonal menu revamp. The food served up here has gone through a lot of adjustments over the years. It used to be our favorite spot to get a Frozen Coke at Magic Kingdom.
Lately its had notoriety as one of the Disney World spots where you can get a famous Turkey Leg.
This is a story we’ll be following closely. Readers are encouraged to keep checking back in with us for further Walt Disney World news and updates!
