Rivers Of America Isn’t Looking Very River-Like
Well Rivers of America isn’t look very River-like on Halloween morning. Our MickeyBlogger is on the scene at Magic Kingdom today and noticed that the river has been almost completely drained!
Here’s a look at the empty river bed looking along the Frontierland shoreline. The once flowing waterway is now nothing more than a puddle exposing the track for the Liberty Belle.
Here’s another look at the water looking toward Liberty Square.
Somehow, an empty Rivers of America makes the Haunted Mansion look even more ominous in the distance.
As we previously reported here at MickeyBlog both the Liberty Belle and Tom Sawyer Island are closed to the public as work is carried out.
The closure is expect to last through February of 2021.
There’s no word yet on exactly what the work being carried out entails.
We’ll continue to follow this story closely and we promise to let you know as soon as we know more!
We are sure that when it returns it will be looking more beautiful than ever.
In the meantime this is the view that guests will have to endure. However, it does provide some interesting insights as to how the Liberty Belle runs!
The attraction definitely gives you the feel that you are on a full-fledged steamboat. However, the ride does follow a track around the property.
