EPCOT to Begin After-Hours Fireworks Testing This Week
Are fireworks coming back to EPCOT and Walt Disney World in the near future? A recent notice sent out to Guests staying at EPCOT Area Walt Disney World Resort Hotels make it seem like they are!
Those staying in one of the Walt Disney World Resorts in the EPCOT Area such as Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Villas were just notified that tomorrow evening; Wednesday, September 23; to be prepared for loud noises as they will be testing fireworks after hours at nearby EPCOT.

Since Walt Disney World reopened after an extended closure back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fireworks have not been offered at anywhere at Walt Disney World including EPCOT.
Before EPCOT closed, Guests were treated to the temporary fireworks replacement show of EPCOT Forever once Illuminations: Reflections of Earth ended after a several year run. The all-new HarmonioUS fireworks show was scheduled to debut this Fall but an exact start date has yet to be announced from Disney.
