Baby Yoda Comes to Life

Baby Yoda has come to life! Hasbro has released an animatronic Baby Yoda. He moves his little arms and legs, makes signature Baby Yoda sounds and, of course, moves his ears. Hasbro’s 30 second television ad was released ahead of the New York Toy Fair.

The toy will cost $60 and will not be released until the fall although it is currently available for pre-order. Consumers will also be able to purchase a separate floating crib for their life-like animatronic.

The Baby Yoda’s release in the fall will likely coincide with The Mandalorian Season 2. Baby Yoda, or The Child, has been the break-out character of the series spawning an obsession with the character. This toy will be no exception. With the animatronic’s ability to “clutch his necklace” and “go to sleep”, for Baby Yoda fans he will be too adorable to pass up.
