6 Out of This World Ways To Have a Star Wars Adventure at Disneyland Resort
The Force is mighty strong at Disneyland these days. Visitors will find everything from galactic experiences to epic encounters including the newly opened Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction at Galaxy’s Edge.
To give you a taste of all the Star Wars fun that awaits visitors to Disneyland here’s a look at 6 of our favorite out-of-this-world experiences!
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Head to Black Spire Outpost on the remote planet of Batuu where you’ll become a part of the Star Wars story as you sample galactic food and beverages, explore an intriguing collections of merchandise from across the galaxy and encounter some of your favorite characters including R2-D2.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Not by a long shot! You can take control of the most famous ship in the galaxy aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and race through the halls of a Star Destroyer on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. This new adventure blurs the lines between fantasy and reality on a scale you’ve never experienced before!
Galactic Merchandise
In the bustling market of Black Spire Outpost, you’ll find a bustling market brimming with treasure from around the galaxy. Visit the Creature Stall which houses some of the galaxy’s most unique (and cuddly) pets including the rather temperament Loth-cats. You’ll also want to pop by the Droid Depot where you can build your very own BB Series or R Series droid that are fully customizable! Or feel the Force with your very own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop! For the Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop you can even make advance reservations up to 60 days in advance on the Disneyland website or app!
There’s also still time to stock up on commemorative Rise of the Resistance merch including a First Order Short-Range Evacuation Vehicle Play Set which features a First Order transport with its own R5-series astromech droid!
Epic Food and Beverages
Be sure to bring your appetites. At Galaxy’s Edge you’ll find a wide range of intergalactic goodies. Some of our favorites include the Ronto-less Garden Wrap at Ronto Roasters which features plant-based sausage, spicy kimchi slaw, sweet pickled cucumber and Gochujang Spread all wrapped in a pita. Be sure to save room for the Kyryll Pork Rinds in cinnamon sugar.
Speaking of sweet tooth, head over to Kat Saka’s Kettle for some tasty chocolate popcorn with Crait Red Salt. You can wash it all down with a refreshing cup of blue or green milk at the Milk Stand. For a special treat, sample the NEW Toydaria Swirl which mixes green milk with chilli lime seasoning and mango jelly. Or stay warm during those cool Batuu nights with a Black Spire Hot Chocolate topped with shimmering whipped cream available at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo and Ronto Roasters!
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
The fun isn’t limited to Galaxy’s Edge. You can also head over to Tomorrowland where you can blast off on a thrilling 3D tour of the Star Wars galaxy aboard a Starspeeder 1000 which takes passengers to exciting destinations including those inspired by The Rise of Skywalker.
Star Wars Launch Bay
A haven for Star Wars enthusiasts, head to Launch Bay to get an up-close look at props, costumes and authentic replicas right in the heart of Tomorrowland. While you are there, you may even encounter some epic heroes—and menacing villains—including Darth Vader!
