Meet Mickey and Minnie at Town Square Theater
Also at the Town Square Theater is your chance to personally wish Mickey & Minnie a “Happy Birthday!” Head backstage while the stars get ready for their new show – “The Celebration Revue.” Even though they are busy preparing, for the big show, they’re still gladly taking time out of their busy schedule to meet with friends while wearing their snazzy new party outfits.
“Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It!” Street Party
One of the highlights of Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration is “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It!” Street Party! The exciting party rolls into Central Plaza in front of Cinderella Castle daily. The details of this party are out of this world! The Disney Parks Live Entertainment team has really pulled out all the stops to make this the most spirited, high-energy party you’ve ever seen! High-energy party hosts keep the party going with arrangements of some of your favorite tunes along with an all-new song called “It’s a Good Time.”
According to Choreographer Cindy Wilson, “The ‘Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It!’ Street Party is a throwback to the Mickey Mouse Club, with wonderful music that everybody’s going to want to get up and dance to, and it’s contemporary at the same time. I think when [the characters] all come off the floats, guests are going to want to just jump in.”
The character appearances during the “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party is also one for the record books. Guests will see Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Max, Pluto, Chip ‘n Dale, Clarice, Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, José Carioca and Panchito – and of course, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Make sure to have your dancing shoes on as well. All guests are invited to break it down and show off their favorite dance moves.
