New Poster For ‘Frozen 2’ Released
It’s only two months before Frozen 2 hits theaters marking the big-screen return of much-loved characters including Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven and Kristoff. To prep for the premiere on November 22nd, Disney has released a new poster for the film that we here at MickeyBlog are excited to share with you!
Let’s take a look:
Though details regarding the plot for Frozen 2 remain vague, what we do know from the synopsis released by Disney is that the film will delve a little deeper into why Elsa has her magical ice powers. Though finding the answer could pose a threat to her kingdom. Joined by Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, Elsa must set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey to discover whether her powers (once thought to be too much for the world) are enough to stop troublesome forces at work.
Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf, also took to Twitter this week to show his support for the new imagery for Frozen 2.

Fans will only have to wait for a little over 60 days to find out what events transpire in the film. However, in a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Kristin Bell hinted that the sequel is slightly more adult in tone: “It’ll still be appropriate for kids and kids will still love it, but these girls have grown up as well a little bit,” Bell clarified. “I think the original fans of Frozen, who were little girls and now might not think it’s for them, will be pleasantly surprised.”
In a recent interview with Slashfilm, Creator Jennifer Lee added, “[Buck] and I were like, ‘That story’s done.’ But then one day we just made the mistake of talking about something and going, ‘Oh my gosh. That’s the thing we still haven’t explored, and it’s important.’ Then I spent time writing these journals as the girls. I didn’t do it from exactly [copying the original] because I can’t. And if we tried to do it that way, I think we would have something very hollow.”
