Disney Cruise Line Offering a 25% Future Credit For Those That Cancelled April-May Sailings
Though the Walt Disney World theme parks were pretty quick to close down their theme parks “until further notice” amid the COVID-19 crisis, Disney Cruise Lines have been a bit more slow and steady.
This has meant that many families with sailings in April and May cancelled or shifted the dates on their cruises before Disney Cruise Line began offering their rebooking incentives. However, in a recent move, Disney is now extending a 25% future booking credit for those affected.
According to the update posted today, Disney Cruise Line will be reaching out to clients booked on Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy or Disney Magic sailings that were scheduled to depart between April 29 – May 17th 2020 who moved their sail date due to concerns about COVID-19.
The future cruise credit will be 25% off the voyage fare of the original cruise that you cancelled. The credit will be applied upon receipt of final payment. This means that if you moved a sail date or selected a placeholder date between January 30 and April 10,2020 on a cancelled Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy or Disney Magic sailing departing through May 17, 2020 you qualify.
The 25% credit is only valid for sailings departing within 15 months of your ORIGINAL departure date. The original reservation must have been paid in full to qualify. The credit is applied per person and is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Guests are also not able to stack discount or credit offers.
Those not wanting to take advantage of the credit are eligible for are refund up to the amount of the original voyage fare.
