Four New Songs to Debut in ‘Frozen 2’ Including the Next Chapter of ‘Let it Go’
I’ll give you a warning before you start to read this article. You will have “Let it Go” stuck in your head for the rest of the day. (If it’s not already from just reading the title!) But if you are excited for the new music from Frozen 2 as much as you are to see the movie itself, just “Let it Go” and continue reading to more about the movie and its’ soundtrack.
Co-director of Frozen 2 Jennifer Lee, was recently interviewed by “Variety” at the premiere of Ralph Breaks the Internet and gave us fans some insider info how the sequel to the popular movie will sound. Lee said, “We have a new song that I think is an evolution [of “Let it Go]. It’s its own song…Bobby [Lopez] and Kristen [Anderson-Lopez] just delivered it three weeks ago. We’ve been working with them for two years and this song just came in and I love it.” In addition to the next chapter of “Let it Go”, Lee said, “We have three more to go.” Meaning the movie will have a total of four new songs.
Lee also shed some additional information on the plot of Frozen 2. Anna and Elsa will be the stars of the movie, but Lee stated, “They’re going to go far out of Arendelle.” She also said the sequel will be “bigger, more epic”.
It was just recently announced that the premiere of Frozen 2 was being moved up five days and will now land in a theater near you on November 22, 2019 instead of the original release date of November 27, 2019.
