‘Frozen 2’ Receives New Release Date
Great news “Frozen” fans! We all will be able to “Let it Go” one week earlier than anticipated at the new “Frozen 2” movie will now debut in theaters on November 22, 2019. This is five days earlier than the original release date of November 27, 2019.
Not much information on the script for “Frozen 2” has been released at this time. However, we do know that Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel will be back as “Frozen” sisters, Anna and Elsa for the sequel along with Josh Gad as the adorable Olaf. Rumors have been circulating that Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are also set to join cast.
Behind the camera, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are returning to direct the movie. Allison Schroder of “Hidden Figures” fame as been tapped to pen the script with Jennifer Lee.
“Frozen 2” is just one of the several movies Disney has in the works to be released between now and 2020. Here are the confirmed release dates for other much-anticipated Disney movies:

- March 8, 2019: “Captain Marvel”
- March 29, 2019: live-action “Dumbo”
- May 3, 2019: “Avengers 4” (working title)
- May 24, 2019: live-action “Aladdin”
- June 21, 2019: “Toy Story 4”
- July 19, 2019″ live-action “Lion King”
- August 9, 2019: live-action “Artemis Fowl”
- October 4, 2019: live-action “The Jungle Book”
- December 20, 2019: “Star Wars: Episode IX”
- March 27, 2020: live-action “Mulan”
- May 29, 2020: “Maleficent 2”
