Scenes From Disney Springs: Jock Lindsey’s & Raglan Road
So, I am in Orlando for a day with Disney Institute and a vocational conference.
But since my group got into town on a fairly decent schedule (thanks to my DisneyTravels agent), I wanted to try my hand at finding some fun sights from in-and-around Disney Springs.
Onto the bus we went!
Jock Lindey’s Hangar Bar
Now, I am obsessed with Indiana Jones and, as a result, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, so we started there:
In no particular order, we find a couple of references to “Bigelow’s Air Circus” from The Rocketeer (about which I am also obsessed), voodoo dolls from Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom, an ice cube maker (one a time, please), the only Hidden Mickey in the entire place, and a portrait of the pilot, himself.
You’ll recognize Jock from the following scene:

The place is truly fabulous. Make sure to walk around. Find the “headpiece to the Staff of Ra.”
And don’t skimp on the apps. Try the Rueben-style flatbread. And hey, don’t be afraid to order a “Roy Rogers.”
Raglan Road
Then we moved over to Raglan Road where, I am ashamed to say, I’d never been.
The place did NOT disappoint and will become a staple from here on out.
Bottom line: Raglan Road was a larger, cleaner version of the best Irish bars I’ve been to around the world. And I was sitting there on a winter’s Monday.
The Guinness was well-poured, the chips were excellent (don’t forget the malt vinegar), and so was the live music.
I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to @DisneySprings Raglan Road. I’ll definitely be back! @MickeyBlog_ pic.twitter.com/OZwyO2DhZv

All-in-all, the trip to Disney Springs was a perfect way to start this journey around Wald Disney World.
Oh, so you want to join me down here? Thankfully, I know how:
