Magic Kingdom Traffic Backed Up for 4 Miles
Magic Kingdom traffic this New Year’s Eve is already backed up several miles. Guests entering the park early this morning experienced the slow moving traffic and shared on social media.
MickeyBlog.com was en route to Hollywood Studios and was able to snap some pics of the Magic Kingdom traffic backed up to the Swan and Dolphon hotel. Yes, this traffic was waiting to enter Magic Kingdom.
Will Magic Kingdom Reach Capacity?
None of the Walt Disney World Parks have hit capacity this holiday season, while Disneyland Park did hit capacity on Friday temporarily.
Many people have taken to social media to share pics and maps of the traffic backup.
World Drive is red. Red is bad. It’s New Year’s Eve. Have lots of patience today if you’re heading to the parks. #DisneyWorld pic.twitter.com/DSpUfG7Lus

What is normally a 10 minute ride for some folks is taking over 35 minutes to enter the parking lot. World Drive will likely be backed up all day and night.

Never Before Seen Traffic
While some folks haven’t seen traffic like this outside Magic Kingdom, this was to be expected based on past years.
I have never in my life seen traffic like this outside of Magic Kingdom.

It will be interesting to see how traffic is later today for the other three Walt Disney World Parks, as well as Disneyland and Disney Springs.
