Tortilla Jo’s in Downtown Disney Will Permanently Close This April
Have you been craving fresh guacamole, famous loaded nachos, or classic tacos? You only have a few more weeks to stop by and grab your favorite Mexican fare before Tortilla Jo’s in Downtown Disney closes for good.
This vibrant dining location is a popular hot spot featuring authentic south-of-the-border specialties.
But now with the transformation of Downtown Disney, Tortilla Jo’s will be closing to make room for exciting new offerings.
Restaurant Closing Details
The Mexican restaurant and tequila bar emailed patrons at the beginning of 2024, announcing that the restaurant would permanently close on March 31st.
Patina Group, however, just announced that it will officially close its doors on Sunday, April 7th.
Reservations can be made through April 7th via the Disneyland app, and walk-ups will continue through that time.
Coming Soon
The good news? Downtown Disney is continuing its amazing transformation and great new restaurants are coming soon.
Two New Mexican restaurants are joining the dining line-up! Paseo, a sit-down offering will move into the former Catal/Uva Bar spot upstairs, and an outdoor lounge, Centrico will take over the Uva Bar spot.
A third quick-service location is moving in just below Paseo, called Tiendita.
And though the Earl of Sandwich is not new, it will have a new home on the west side of Downtown Disney.
The new Porto’s Bakery is slotted to fill in the old Earl’s location, and fans are excited. Porto’s is a popular LA chain known for Cuban sandwiches, baked goods, and delicious potato balls.
A lot of changes happening this year. Be sure to stay tuned and be sure to follow along with MickeyBlog to stay updated on this and all things Disney.
