DVC Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Receives More Paint
Can’t get enough of those tropical, Polynesian vibes? With its lush landscaping and laid-back atmosphere, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort offers a truly magical island escape!
Soon, Disney’s very own tropical paradise will expand to include a brand-new DVC tower, complete with even more exciting amenities.
Since 2022, we’ve watched the new tower take shape. MickeyBlog has followed along as construction crews broke ground on the site and as the building went vertical last spring.
More recently, crews put a first round of paint on the building, giving us a better idea of the intended final product.
Today, our team stopped by to get a better look at the building’s most recent progress!
More Paint at Polynesian’s New DVC Tower
Over the past few weeks, construction crews have installed windows and sliding glass doors on the new DVC tower. Additionally, the centerpiece roof accent was also installed, lending the roofline a distinctive focal point.
Now, as more paint is applied to the building, it’s clear that we’re inching closer and closer to opening day!
Keeping in line with Disney’s original concept art for the building, the new paint colors are earthy shades of brown, tan, and cream.
The neutral, organic hues will help the new building blend into the existing landscape at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
The more paint on the building, the closer we are to experiencing Disney’s latest DVC addition!
We can’t wait to see the final product!
When Will The New Tower Open?
Disney expects the new DVC Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to open in late 2024. Stay tuned to MickeyBlog for all the latest updates!
