Construction Update: Roofing Visible on DVC Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Construction work continues on the Disney Vacation Club Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village and Resort. We love popping by to see the progress, and we know our Disney fans do, too.
This section of Disney property has been steadily progressing, and it is looking great.

This week, our reporting team captured new photos from the Polynesian Boat Dock.

The biggest change we noticed? Additional rooftop has been added and is visible from the waterside of the tower.

The new rooftop is the highest point of the building and provides a geometric accent and a cool aesthetic.

You can also see that the majority windows and sliding glass door are installed.

The new luxury tower is constructed where the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show was originally located. The themed show closed during the pandemic and did not reopen.

Nestled on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon, we cannot wait to see the end result. The new tower will include one and two-bedroom villas.

Disney has also shared that the new DVC property will include a large pool, excellent dining options, and more- all while capturing the spirit of the South Pacific.

Be sure to get a view of the progress on your next visit. Guests can get a great glimpse from the boat or the monorail.

Coming Soon
The new Disney Vacation Club Towers are expected to open “sometime in late 2024”.

The Polynesian Village Resort currently has DVC rooms, but these are limited to studios and over-the-water bungalows.
Direct sales are not yet open for the new Tower, but it will be part of the pre-existing Polynesian Villas & Bungalows condominium association. Stay tuned!
