Amorette’s Patisserie is an upscale French pastry store at Walt Disney World Resort. Featuring indulgent desserts such as éclairs, New York-style cheesecake, and signature cakes, Guests love to peek at the shop’s chefs decorating various items.
Hocus Pocus 2
Hocus Pocus 2 premiered on Disney+ on September 30. A highly anticipated sequel to Hocus Pocus, which was released almost 30 years ago, the movie follows the beloved Sanderson Sisters as they stir up Halloween trouble.

Hocus Pocus Black Flame Petit Cake
Amorette’s Patisserie is debuting a new dessert in celebration of the movie! The Hocus Pocus Black Flame Petit Cake is made of devil’s food biscuit, apricot jam, brandy simple syrup, caramel mousse, and candied pecan crunch.
At $22.00, the beautiful cake is stunning to look at! In the movie, the Black Flame Candle is a magical item that can bring the dead back to life, much to the delight of the scheming Sanderson sisters.
Mickey Blogger Jessica sampled the cake, which is now one of her favorites! She shares that it has a brownie flavor and that the apricot jam’s fruit perfectly balances the chocolate!
The caramel mousse is not too sweet, and the candied pecan crunch adds a nice layer of texture with a hint of saltiness. Although the cake is covered in fondant, it is surprisingly not too overpowering, making it more palatable.
Hidden in the bottom layer of the cake, the biscuit is delicious! The brandy blends well with the flavors, making it difficult to taste.
Although the dessert is labeled petit, Jessica shares that it’s definitely shareable due to its richness. It’s also larger than one might expect for a petit cake.
A delicious chocolate decal adorns the front of the dessert, and the flame on top made of sweet fondant adds a delightful touch!
