Disney Accident Report Released for April – June 2022
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department released accident report details from the theme parks for the Spring of 2022 and there were 13 incidents that took place at Walt Disney World.
Disney World reported that two guests had seizure’s while at the parks. The first report was a 23-year-old man in April who was aboard the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The second took place at Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.and involved a 47-year old woman.
Three guests were apparently hurt on the Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This included a 57-year old woman who had respiratory issues and reported her face feeling numb while on the attraction. In June, a 70 year old woman also reported feeling dizzy after riding. At the end of June a 44-year old man reportedly passed out after disembarking from the attraction.
A “cardiac event” also occurred on Living with the Land in EPCOT and motions sickness and passing out on Avatar: Flight of Passage. Also included on the incident report was a guest reporting check pain on Jungle Cruise, another having “stroke-like symptoms on Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid., a guest fainting on Star Tour- The Adventures Continue and another with abdominal pain on Pirates of the Caribbean.
For those unfamiliar, Florida’s major theme parks file quarterly reports on guest injuries on rides that result in at least 24 hours of hospitalization.
