We Tried the NEW Espresso Croissant at Port Orleans French Quarter
This month is all about croissant treats at Walt Disney World! It was just a few weeks ago that Disney Eats announced new tasty treats coming to Walt Disney World.
We already brought you our mouthwatering reviews of the PB&J Croissant from Everything Pop Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

PB&J Croissant
If you love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, this new treat is for you! It was a definite hit!

And the new Cookie Dough Croissant at Contempo Cafe in Disney’s Contemporary Resort was ooey-gooey perfection. A treat we would definitely get again!

Now, there is one more new offering we had to try: The Espresso Croissant at Sassagoula Floatworks.
Indulge in the New Espresso Croissant
Stop by Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter and enjoy the Espresso Croissant. The new bite retails for $5.69 and is available now in Sassagoula Floatworks.

The croissant is perfectly light, flaky, and buttery with a light chocolate drizzle on top. It is also dusted with espresso powder adding a great look and more flavor.

When you bite in you get a decent amount of the filling! However, the croissant is incredibly sweet and the ingredients tasted like they were not quite fully mixed together (even though the inside creme is very smooth).

Espresso Croissant
If you like coffee and have a sweet tooth you will like this croissant, as the cream tastes like sugar and espresso powder.

However, the texture was just not right and made it almost inedible for us. It’s an espresso pastry cream that was sadly disappointing because the other croissants we tried were really great!
