PHOTOS: Light-Up Panels Undergo Testing at CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT
After months of construction, EPCOT’s CommuniCore hall is FINALLY barrelling toward opening day!

We’ve seen plenty of changes in recent weeks, including the addition of Lightning Lane signage and the installation of this large CommuniCore Hall sign.

We’ve also noticed considerable progress on the venue’s stage.

The new festival center will host a Mickey & Friends meet-and-greet spot as well as an Encanto sing-a-long that will debut on the plaza stage this summer.

As anticipation builds among fans, construction crews are still busily testing CommuniCore Hall’s various elements, including the structure’s exterior light-up panels.

Light-Up Panels Tested at CommuniCore Hall
In pretty shades of orange, green, blue, and yellow, CommuniCore Hall’s colorful panels are pretty impressive to begin with.

Our MickeyBlog reporters spotted the testing during daytime hours, so the lights look fairly subtle here. We can’t wait to see the effect at night when the colors will stand out in the dark!

When Will CommuniCore Hall Open?
CommuniCore Hall was originally expected to open in late 2023. However, Disney delayed the opening date for several months.

The construction walls will officially come down on June 10th, 2024, when CommuniCore Hall finally opens to Disney Park guests.
