New Signage Added to Entrance of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Wow, it sure has been an exciting week for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure news!
On Sunday, the news we’ve all been waiting for was finally revealed — the highly-anticipated attraction would be officially opening in Magic Kingdom on June 28th.
Since then, a flurry of further information has hit us this week, including queue and Genie+ details, preview dates, and more. It was even announced that beignets would be returning to the park in celebration!
So, with all the excitement buzzing around the attraction like fireflies in the bayou, our reporter’s eager eyes are permanently cast towards the ride’s Frontierland home.
Of course, we’ve been closely watching the development and construction in this area for months now, but all these finishing details we’re seeing now are making us more excited than ever before!
New Signage
Back when the Splash-Mountain-to-Tiana’s-Bayou-Adventure refurbishment began, one of the first elements we saw changed was the signage and decoration surrounding the attraction’s area.
Fun construction walls came up, and other cute, detailed signs advertising “Tiana’s Foods” also brought an exciting theme to the area.
Now, the signage has evolved to include everything from character portraits, narrative themes, and even (most recently) ride-specific warning signs to alert guests of the experience to come.
Today, our reporters noticed even more new signs have arrived on-site…and it’s a finishing touch we’re so excited to finally see installed! Let’s take a closer look…
Could These Be…?
Looking up to the cute, barn-like entrance to the attraction, we noticed a pair of smart new signs being installed by construction Cast Members today.
With pretty, lotus flower-inspired decoration and black panels in the center, these signs are particularly eye-catching. As we watched the installation efforts, we noticed some electrical work was also evident behind the signs themselves.
I don’t know about you, but we think these look just like they’re going to be wait time signs!
Yep, we’re hoping that these cute signs will one day light up with automated times, alerting guests of reservation or wait times for this highly-anticipated attraction.
An all-important finishing touch for the ride’s refurbishment progress, and a very exciting step towards that long-awaited completion!
As always, be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog for all the latest news when it comes to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, as we count down the days until the flume finally resumes next month!
