New 50 Foot Plunge Sign is up at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom
There has been a lot of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure news in the last 24 hours! Disney finally (and maybe accidentally) released the opening date of this re-imagined attraction coming this summer.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is officially opening this June 28th, 2024.
If you follow along, you know that we have been waiting for this news all year! We have been checking in daily to see how Splash Mountain has transformed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
And now with the opening date officially announced, we can see more details added daily. Here is the newest update that popped up over night.
New Signage
Everyone knows the best part of this attraction is the drop that comes at the end.
New signage has just gone up that references the iconic drop in this flume attraction.
“Attention fifty foot plunge ahead” sign is up at Tiana’s at the main entrance in the queue. Here is a great close up if the brand new signage.
It is very similar to the old Splash Mountain signage with the same warning message.
It is likely that this references a “last chance to turn back” area or exit if you don’t like drops or don’t want to get wet!
This is just one of many updates that will be popping up every day as we get closer to the opening.
Stay Tuned!
A lot is happening this summer and leading up to the grand opening of this highly anticipated attraction. We’ll be keeping our eyes open for more updates.
