NEW ‘Bluey’ “Minisodes” Are Coming to Disney+ This Summer
Calling all Bluey fans! It’s time to GET EXCITED!
The heartwarming Aussie hit that has wormed its way into our homes and hearts will be back this summer with 20 fun-filled “minisodes!”

Back in April, Disney+ aired Bluey‘s first-ever extended episode, called “The Sign.” The tear-inducing, 28-minute episode followed the Heeler family as they navigated a family wedding….and a possible move.

In true Bluey fashion, the record-breaking episode had everybody talking. Fans went wild with speculation that the episode was actually a series finale.

Luckily, a surprise follow-up episode (aptly named “Surprise”) aired the following week, giving viewers a glimpse into Bluey’s future.

The episode told us a bit about what the future has in store for the Heelers, but the question remained — what does the future have in store for the series?
20 Brand-New ‘Bluey’ Minisodes
Well, now we know! Bluey, Bingo, Chilli, and Bandit will be back this summer in a series of 3-minute “minisodes!”

The new episodes will air on the Australian Broadcasting Company (ABC) this June and will air on Disney+ sometime later this summer.
The upcoming “minisodes” are billed as “a collection of sweet and funny moments with the Heeler family.”

Written by series creator Joe Blumm, the shorts will include familiar, fan-favorite characters like Nana, Bob Heeler, and the obnoxiously hilarious Unicorse.

In addition, the “minisodes” will introduce viewers to endearing new characters and invite us into all the fun, love, and hijinks of the Heeler home.

What’s Next for ‘Bluey’?
There are now TWENTY new Bluey episodes on the horizon. But as anticipation mounts for Bluey’s new “minisodes,” fans are left to wonder if the series will ever return to its original 7-minute format.
