Star Wars Celebration 2025 Announces Its First Guests — Tickets on Sale Today
We may be almost a year away from the next Star Wars Celebration, but it is never too early to start getting excited.
The ultimate Star Wars convention is coming to Japan next year, holding court at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from April 18 through April 20.
With tickets on sale today at 7 p.m. ET, StarWars.com has confirmed some of the stars that will be appearing at next year’s events.
Anthony Daniels, Temuera Morrison, and More Will Attend Star Wars Celebration 2025
Among those confirmed to be in attendance at Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 are Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Ashley Eckstein (the voice of Ahsoka in animation), Temuera Morrison (Jango and Boba Fett), and Lucasfilm Executive Creative Director Doug Chiang.
“Star Wars icon Anthony Daniels, the only actor to work on all 11 Star Wars feature films, will make an appearance. Daniels notably portrayed C-3PO in all three Skywalker saga trilogies,” StarWars.com said.
“Also from live action, Temuera Morrison will be there. Morrison first played Jango Fett and his army of clones in ‘Star Wars: Attack of the Clones,’ and has more recently brought Boba Fett back from the (presumed) dead on ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘The Book of Boba Fett.'”
“Lucasfilm’s own Doug Chiang, an Academy Award-winning artist who also serves as senior vice president and executive design director, will be there, too. Recently, Chiang has served as production designer on several Star Wars live-action series, including ‘The Mandalorian,’ ‘Ahsoka,’ and ‘Skeleton Crew,'” the site continues.
“And from animation, Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano in ”Star Wars: The Clone Wars,’ ‘Star Wars Rebels,’ and ‘Tales of the Jedi,’ will appear. The event is excited to welcome back Official Pix as the autograph provider for the show.”
Of the announced attendees, Temuera Morrison’s inclusion is perhaps the most interesting. The actor has been publically campaigning for a second season of The Book of Boba Fett and has taken shots at Lucasfilm for how the first season went.
